A vintage car exhibition was organized at the Cosmo Club, Race Course as part of the 'Coimbatore Festival' in which over 30 vintage model cars from Coimbatore, Tirupur and Annur were displayed for the public.

On the occasion of this year's Coimbatore Festival, an antique car exhibition was held at the Cosmo Club premises on Race Course Road in Coimbatore. About 30 old models of cars used before independence and in the 1980s were featured in the exhibition. The vintage cars displayed included Benz, Chevrolet, Ford, Padmini, Ambassador, Volkswagen and an old jeep. These vintage cars were driven around the Race Course area in the city, much to the delight of the public.
The 'Coimbatore Festival' organisers said the antique cars will continue to be kept for public viewing for a few more days.
