Coimbatore: The NSS Wing of Karpagam Academy conducted an eye check-up camp for the residents in Othakkalmandapam area in Coimbatore on Sunday, April 10.
As part of the 7-day Annual Special Camp being held by the National Service Scheme of Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, the eye check-up camp was held on Day 3.
More than 35 people benefitted through the camp.
K Veerasamy and Dr. M Kalaimathi, NSS programme officers addressed the residents who attended the camp on the 'Importance of Leadership and Ethical Values for Youth.'
After the camp, plastic waste accumulated at Ward 11 in Othakalmandapam was cleared.
