The Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Minister Sekar Babu today inspected the Masani amman temple at Anaimalai in Pollachi.
The Minister was accorded a grand welcome at the Echanari Vinayagar temple in Coimbatore.
He enquired about the functioning of the temple administration from the Echanari temple authorities. Later, he pulled the golden chariot in the temple premises and offered his prayers to the deity.
He was accompanied by Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Commissioner Kumara Guruvelan IAS, District Revenue Officer Leela Alex, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department Additional Commissioner Senthil Valavan and Coimbatore Corporation Deputy Mayor Vetriselvan.
Following this, he took a flight to Chennai.
