Two girls, aged 14 and 17 were reported missing within the boundaries of the Anaimalai police station in Coimbatore district on Tuesday morning. They had reportedly left home saying they were going to visit their grandmother's house but had not returned home. After a long wait, the parents of the girls lodged a complaint with the Anaimalai Police Station.
