Coimbatore: The Karpagam Academy of Higher Education organized a discussion meeting with the alumni on Artificial Intelligence and Innovation Management.
The Department of Biochemistry and Karpagam Academy of Higher Education Alumni Association organized an Alumni Talk entitled "Artificial Intelligence and Innovation Management" on 31st March, Thursday.
Krithika Selvaraj, alumni of Department of Biochemistry (2003-2006 Batch) was the resource person, who is currently working as HR Manager in RPM Performance Coatings Group. She addressed the budding biochemists about Artificial Intelligence in life science, by making discoveries from massive biological data using machine learning, integrating clinical records and genomic data of different kinds, discovering new medicines or drug targets, identifying new classes of cell types and making the diagnosis.
Encouraging the students to involve themselves in innovative projects, Krithika added the significance of AI in the sector's future. More than 60 students attended the program.
