MLA Amul Kandasamy inspected the water tank being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 80 lakhs in Valparai by the Municipality and insisted that the works be expedited.
Valparai: MLA Amul Kandasamy inspected the two drinking water tanks being constructed in Valparai by the Municipality at an estimated cost of Rs.80 lakhs in Valparai Cooperative Colony.
The tanks' capacity is 2 lakh litres each which will ensure there is no scarcity of water for the locals in Valparai. While inspecting the construction works, MLA Kandasamy on Wednesday directed the engineers to ensure that the public have no water issues and to complete the work quickly and effectively.

He then visited the Botanical Garden which is under construction at an estimated 5 crore cost, at PAP Colony. The works at the Garden are nearing completion and is expected to be open to the public anytime soon.
MLA Kandasamy then visited the land allocated for constructing toilets for girls in the Government Higher Secondary School. He was accompanied by the ADMK City Secretary Mayil Ganesan, Deputy Secretary Pon Ganesh, Sudar Baalu, Soundararaj, Sel. Ganesh, Balu, Sasi and Lokesh.
