All parties should unite against AIADMK, DMK: KJK

All parties in the state should unite as one to defeat AIADMK and DMK in the upcoming elections, said Kongunadu Jananayaka Katchy Coordinator Kamaraj Natesan.

Meeting media persons here on Wednesday along with representatives from the Gandhiya Makkal lyakkam, he said that the new alliance formed between the Makkal Nala Koottani and DMDK would not be enough to defeat the ruling AIADMK, which had largely maintained its vote bank.

"We have been spreading awareness among the public and would continue to do so in the coming days until all parties are together in a single alliance," he added. Disapproving the announcement of the Makkal Nala Koottani to make Vijayakanth as the Chief Ministerial candidate of the alliance, a representative from the Gandhiya Makkal lyakkam claimed that it was not civilised to announce the name of the candidate based on his popularity.

"Our Chief Tamilaruvi Maniyan has also condemned the announcement," he added.

Kamaraj Natesan from KJK stated that the party would continue to remain in the PMK alliance if their efforts turned futile.

Condemning the Udumalpet incident, Natesan said that the Government had failed to bring in a strong law against honour killings.
