The Singanallur Police arrested two people for snatching a gold chain from a woman who was riding a two-wheeler, using the CCTV recordings found in the area.

On the 15th, two people on a two-wheeler followed her while she was on her way to Irugur on her bike, and snatched her chain.
The CCTV footage went viral and the Singanallur police registered a case in connection with the incident and conducted an investigation.
Meanwhile, the police arrested Tamilselvan from Coimbatore and Prakash from Tirupur in connection with the case. Investigations also revealed that Jayalakshmi from the same locality also had a hand in the incident.
The police arrested the duo and seized six sovereigns of jewellery and a two-wheeler from them. They were then produced before the court and lodged in prison.
