In the meeting arranged jointly by the Corporation and Dr. Kalam Foundation the students from Masakalipalayam Corporation Middle School met the Coimbatore Corporation Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar on Monday, and were educated about the functioning of the Corporation, its roles and responsibilities
Coimbatore: The Corporation Mayor and CCMC Commissioner met the students of Corporation Middle school in Masakalipalayam.
'Coffee with Mayor', a special meet for the corporation middle school students from Masakkalipalayam was organized in association with the Dr. Kalam Foundation and City Corporation.
The Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar and the Corporation Commissioner Raja Gopal Sunkara presided over the meeting held on 28th March 2022 at the main office auditorium of Coimbatore Corporation. About 50 students of Masakalipalayam Corporation Middle School participated.
The students were elaborated on the administrative procedures, selection procedures, and departments of the Corporation, and the Mayor and the Commissioner clarified their doubts. Sharing their experiences with the students, the Commissioner also inquired about their ambitions and goals, the books they have read and advised the school children to make good use of the library.
Mayor and Corporation Commissioner distributed herbal plants to the school students who participated in the function. Representatives and volunteers of the Dr. Abdul Kalam Foundation, teachers and students of Masakalipalayam Corporation Middle School participated in the function.
