Coimbatore: The roads that were opened for laying water pipes in ward 15 in North Zone were relayed and the new roads are being constructed at ward 60, Uppilipalayam under the TURIF.
Tar roads are being constructed for a distance of 480 meters at a cost of Rs 61 lakhs under TURIF (Tamilnadu Urban Road Infrastructure Funds) in Uppilipalayam, Perks School Road under Ward No.60, East Zone, Coimbatore Corporation.
Similarly, the roads that were dug up for laying drinking water pipes and cables and laying pipelines in Ward No.15, Balasubramaniyam Nagar, Suryalakshmi Kadan, and Annai Garden under Coimbatore Corporation North Zone are also being relaid.
The Corporation officials supervised the process.
