Coimbatore: The Perur Town Panchayat Head, Annadurai, paid his respects to the destitute old man who passed away on Saturday, 19th March 2022.
A number of elderly people have been living near the Pattiswarar temple in Perur, Coimbatore, who live by seeking alms from the visitors of the temple. An old man died on Saturday, and the people present there informed the Perur police.

Meanwhile, Perur Town Panchayat President Annadurai, who came to the spot, garlanded the deceased and paid his respects.

The body was then handed over to the police. Following this, the body of the elderly man was sent to the Coimbatore Government Hospital for post mortem. The public is praising the action of the Town Panchayat President.
