A guest worker from the Northern part of India, has suffered serious head injuries after he fell off his two-wheeler, skidding on mud in Kovilpalayam, and is undergoing treatment at the Pollachi Government Hospital.
Coimbatore: A migrant worker was injured after he fell from his bike in Kovilpalayam.
Many from the north are working at the private factory at Kulathupalayam near Kinathukadavu. Last night, Ajay Kumar Malik, who works in the factory, had come to Kovilpalayam to drop off his friend on a two-wheeler.
Reportedly, Ajay stumbled skidding on mud, and fell down when he was on his way back to the factory in Kulathupalayam after dropping his friend. He suffered serious head injuries and was rushed to Pollachi Government Hospital by the passers-by in a private ambulance.
Ajay Kumar Malik is undergoing treatment at Pollachi government hospital for head injury. The Kinathukadavu police have registered a case and are investigating.
