The Tamil Nadu Budget for 2022-23 was presented by the Finance Minister for the State, Palanivel Thiyagarajan, on 18th March 2022, in which funds have been allocated for supporting and encouraging the startups for which the Indian Texpreuners Federation expressed happiness.

Indian Texpreneurs Federation (ITF), Convenor, Prabhu Dhamodharan said, "With his rich experience in the world of finance, Honourable Finance Minister has presented a good budget to strengthen the fundamentals of our economy."
Prabhu called the budget the 'Right allocation' to education infra, focusing on bringing down the revenue deficit in the coming years, creating of knowledge city. He highlighted that the funds to encourage start-ups are the most welcomed and said these were the progressive steps towards making Tamil Nadu a more resilient economy.
