The 22nd ward Councillor, Babu, has promised to transform the area into a clean and green one.
Coimbatore: The ward 22 Councillor Babu aims for a 'Clean and Green' Locality, in his ward.

"100% Hygiene and a 100% Greenery for the area was the promise I made during my campaign and as soon as I assumed office, I met the sanitation workers and I have elaborated on waste Management, and will extend the necessary support", stated the Councillor Babu of Cheran ma Nagar, talking to SimpliCity.
Babu stated that people helped the DMK with this sweeping victory with high hopes and he will not let that in vain.

The Corporation's 22nd Ward area will act as a pioneer to all other areas in the city. Adding that the drinking water, sanitation, and road problems are manifold, he promised to address them one after another as he has been meeting the concerned department to resolve issues.

"As the summer season begins, we are planning to conduct a field survey in collaboration with corporation officials, water board officials, and residents welfare association officials on Saturday to discuss about water scarcity." the Councillor stated that an inspection will be held with the TWAD officials to check if drinking water is supplied sufficiently and action will be taken to identify and address the shortcomings.
Addressing waste disposals, he requested that the locals act with responsibility and not dump garbage on the roadside and empty areas. He added that issues regarding garbage disposals can be brought to his attention to seek a solution. Babu said that contact numbers have been introduced for the public to raise their grievances and press demands in the ward, any time, or people shall use the app, 'kovaiw22' launched during the campaign by the Minister of Electricity, and action will be taken to resolve it immediately.
He promised to bring all the welfare schemes of the State Government to the ward to serve people and benefit of youth, students.
