Coimbatore: The students of age 12-14 at the Government High School in Kinathukadavu were administered the first dose of the Covid19 vaccination.
The Government commenced coronavirus vaccination drives for 12-14-year-olds on 16th March, Wednesday, following the vaccines being administered to people above 18 years of age on behalf of the Government of India to protect against corona infection.
Accordingly, 12 to 14-year-old students studying in Government Higher Secondary School, Kinathukadavu in Coimbatore District were vaccinated on behalf of the Health Department.

The students were vaccinated under the supervision of Chitra, Regional Medical Officer, Kinathukadavu. Students also cooperated with great zeal to get their vaccines.
Health officials said corona vaccination of children aged 12 to 14 years will continue every day in Kinathukadavu.
