Coimbatore: The Karpagam Institute of Technology conducted a cleanliness awareness program along with Lion's Club at the Government Middle School in Bodipalayam in Coimbatore.
The Karpagam Institute of Technology conducted the “School Campus Cleaning and Swachh Awareness Campaign” in association with Lion’s Club, CBE SIDCO Industrial Estate on 15-03-2022 at the Government Middle School, Bodipalayam. Lion’s Club President V.Gregory Joseph, Secretary, P. Muniyandi, and Treasurer K.M. Sankar presided over the function.
The Social Activity club In chargeDr.P. Mayil Vel Kumar, Faculty Members S.Jeniton, M.Gunasekaran and Students of Karpagam Institute of Technology took up the school campus cleaning work and maintenance of the school compound wall. The school Head Mistress and teachers of the school made the arrangements for the program.
The student volunteers of the Social Activities Club (UBA, YRC, and RRC), Karpagam Institute of Technology removed the unwanted bushes and wastes like plastics, bottles, papers, etc in and around the school campus. The faculties and Lions Club members addressed the gathering on the Swachh Awareness Campaign and created awareness among students and teachers of the school.
