The International Women's Day celebration was held at the girls hostel in Karpagam College of Engineering, which the girls stated was a great stress buster amidst the pandemic issues.
Coimbatore: The International Women's Day celebration was held at the girls hostel in Karpagam College of Engineering, which the girls stated was a great stress buster amidst the pandemic issues.
"Together we rise, divided we fall,", the International Women's Day, expressing the support for one another was celebrated on 8th march 2022 at the girls hostel in Karpagam College of Engineering,Myleripalayam, Coimbatore.
All the girls, ladies at hostel gathered on the occasion of International Women’s day, celebrating women. The participants, audience stated that the program appeared to of great relief, as it happens to be the first gathering in KCE girls hostel post the pandemic. All the precautions and rules followed by the students and faculties.
The celebration started around 6.00 pm in the evening where students from all the departments of Engineering, MBA, MCA, Nursing, B.Pharm and pharm. D came together. Dr.P.Vijayakumar, Principal, Karpagam College of Engineering, Dr.S.Mohan, Principal, Karpagam College of Pharmacy, Dr.Sudha.M, Principal, Karpagam College of Nursing along with the Deans, Directors and HOD’s participated.
Invocating the lord, the event had welcome dance program, in which the students performed. Dr. M R Vanithamani, Director, FoMS and Chief Warden delivered the welcome note and introduced the panel of chief guests to the students.
Various contests including rangoli competition, singing, dancing, personality identification, quiz and many more were held and the winners and participants were felicitated, that motivated them. Students from various departments in Karpagam girls hostel exhibited their talents in singing, dancing and performing variety entertainment.
