The consecration of Sri Sathur Perumal Temple in Kinathukadavu was held with religious fervour and gaiety after 12 years and hundreds of devotees converged at the temple to witness the event.

The Maha Consecration of the 1000-year-old temple, Sri Sathur Perumal Temple in Solavampalayam of Kinathukadavu was held on the 14th of March, Monday, 2022 after 12 years.
The consecration ceremony was started last evening with Go- Puja and was followed by Maha Sudarshana Homa and Mahalakshmi Homa. The puja was performed for two periods at yaga salai set up in front of the temple. This was followed by the main event, the Consecration Ceremony, early this morning.
The holy water jugs placed on the yaga salai were brought with religious fervour with drum beats and were taken to the tower and consecrated with holy water for the kalasa.
This was followed by a royal decoration for Sathur Perumal and a special puja was performed. A large number of devotees participated in the consecration ceremony and worshipped with gaiety.
