The Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Texcity planted 500+ Bamboo Trees as a part of the Rotaract Week Celebration focusing on Supporting the Environment along with the Rotary Club of Coimbatore SaiCity on 12 March 2022 at Kearthiman School, Kanuvai.
The event was held commemorating World Rotaract Week by Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Texcity along with Rotary Club of Coimbatore Sai City.
The club focused on developing nature and support the environment.
As many as 50 students and the staff participated. The students were educated on the usage of bamboo trees and a section of the students came forward to take trees home and committed to nurture them.
Rtn. Gopinath, President, Rotary Coimbatore Sai City and members of Rotary Sai City, Rtr. Varalakshmi, President, Rtr. Kishroe and Rtr. Thanghapantieyaan, Club Advisor was the lead of the plantation drive and made it happen on the occasion of World Rotaract Week.
