The Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Texcity conducted an awareness program on "Drug Abuse and Discovery" focusing on Disease Prevention and Treatment on 11 March 2022 held at Sindhi Vidyalaya School Campus.
The event was held as part World Rotaract Week Celebration by Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Texcity to motivate and prevent the students of Class XI and XII of Sindhi Vidyalaya School, Saibaba Colony.
Manikandan, Constable and Eshwaran, Sub Inspectors as speakers of the event from the Law and Order Police Station of Saibaba Colony. The guests gave insights and instructions about the drug handling cases and real-time life experiences of the student's life.
They gave a brief on basic rules and regulations that can be easily understood by the students. 200+ students participated in the event benefiting from this initiative.
Bagyalakshmi, Principal, Sindhi Vidyalaya School, Rtr. Varalakshmi, President and Rtr. Thanghapantieyaan, Club Advisor was the lead of the awareness program and made it happen on the occasion of World Rotaract Week.
