The installation ceremony of the Rotaract Club of Karpagam Institute of Technology was held on 14th March 2022. The chief Guest were K.M.G.Athi Pandian, Public Relation officer, Karpagam Institutions, and guests of honour Rtn. PHF. R. Hendry Amalaraj (Zonal Chairman – Partnership forums in Rotary) and Rtr.S.Keerthi Vivek (District Rotaract Representative).
Rtr. B.S.Kishore Babu, District Rotaract Representative-Elect was a special invitee for the ceremony. Post the welcome address and Tamil Thai Vazhthu, the dignitaries were formally felicitated with a shawl. The new PresidentK. Gnanasekaran and new Secretary S.Raamsingh took up the responsibility by delivering the acceptance speech. The incoming President introduced the office bearers of the Rotaract Club of Karpagam Institute of Technology.
The new office bearers received their badges from the honourable chief guest and other dignitaries and took the solemn Rotaract oath.
Rtr. B.S.Kishore Babu addressed the gathering by explaining the importance of Rotaract Club. He stated that Rotaract is the platform to take up opportunities and provide welfare to the community at large.
The guest of honour shared his experiences in Rotaract and opportunities through this for career development, pressing that we need to take up challenges and give our best.
Finally, the chief guest addressed the gathering by sharing his experience when he served as the in-charge of Rotaract Club years back. He motivated the students to develop and implement innovative ideas and make the society a better place to live in.
