The police launched a hunt for the robbers who looted 7 sovereigns of gold from a financier’s house in Ganapathy, while the owners were to their relative’s house in Valparai
Coimbatore: A financier’s house was broken in and seven sovereigns of gold was robbed from the house.
Thangaprabhu, (30), of Varadharajulu Nagar in Ganapathy is a financier by profession. As he was away to his relative’s house in Valparai two days back, miscreants broke in and looted 7 sovereigns of gold from his house.
Thangaprabu got to knkow of the incident while he returned home this morning, 12th March, as he found the bureau in the house had been opened and the clothes were in disorder.
Thangaprabhu lodged a complaint with Saravanampatti police stating that the robbers had entered the home through the back door. Police arrived at the spot and collected the evidence from the scene of crime. They have also registered a case and have launched an investigation.
