In a shocking event, a 20-year-old young woman was found hanging near Kaliyananpudur in Thondamuthur, Coimbatore, while her husband and mother-in-law are absconding. The Revenue Divisional Officer is investigating the case.
Parthiban, (33), native of Kaliyananputhur in Thondamuthur, works as a tailor and was married to Malathi, (20). The two got married six months ago.
The Thondamuthur police received information that Malathi was found hanging from a tree near the house, on 10th morning, this month. The police then recovered the body and sent it to Coimbatore government hospital for post mortem.
Malathi’s husband, Parthiban and mother-in-law Murugathal are missing and the Thondamuttur police have registered a case in connection with the incident. Revenue Divisional Officer Elangovan is investigating the case in person.
