The main accused in the murder of Gokul Raj, Yuvaraj has been lodged in the Coimbatore Central Prison after the Madurai Special Sessions Court sentenced him with three life sentences on Tuesday.

The main accused in the murder of Gokul Raj, Yuvaraj has been lodged in the Coimbatore Central Prison after the Madurai Special Sessions Court sentenced him with three life sentences on Tuesday.
Yuvraj, who was sentenced to 3 life imprisonment in the Gokulraj murder case and lodged in Madurai jail, was shifted to Coimbatore Central Jail due to administrative reasons and was lodged in a heavily guarded Coimbatore jail.
The Madurai District Special Court has sentenced Yuvraj and his driver to 3 life imprisonment and seven associates to life imprisonment in connection with the murder of engineering graduate Gokulraj on Tuesday, 8th March.
All the 10 accused were lodged in Madurai central jail. The prison department has taken action by transferring Yuvraj, the main accused, from Madurai Central Jail to Coimbatore Central Jail for administrative reasons.
Following this Yuvraj was brought to Coimbatore jail in a vehicle under heavy police protection from Madurai Central Jail and lodged in the city’s central jail.
