A Crime Branch police officer died all of a sudden during his training here at the CRPF training academy and the Thudiyalur Police have registered a case to investigate cause of death.
Coimbatore: A Crime Branch police officer died all of a sudden during his training here at the CRPF training academy in Thoppapampatti.
A crime investigation branch police constable Anil Kumar, (38), who was undergoing training at the CRPF Training Academy collapsed stating he had a heart attack after the training on Monday. The fellow cops at the academy rushed him to the hospital but he succumbed by then.
Anil Kumar, son of PV Sivarana was working as a policeman at the CBI office in Delhi. He was promoted to head constable last month. He was first taken to the CRPF Hospital, and then to the private hospital in the Thudiyalur. But, the doctors who examined him said he was already dead. The Thudiyalur police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
