The District Collector, Corporation Commissioner, Police Commissioner, District Superintendent planted saplings at the Collector office along with the women employees at the office on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
Coimbatore: On occasion of International Women’s Day Coimbatore District Collector along with the women employees of Collectorate.
The District Collector Dr GS Sameeran, Corporation Commissioner Raja Gopal Sunkara, Police Commissioner Pradip Kumar, District Superintendent Selvanagarathinam and Revenue Officer Leela Alex planted saplings at the Collector office campus along with the women employees at the office on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
Five varieties of saplings including Vilva and Spanish Cherry (Magizhampoo) were planted in the Collectorate premises. More than 50 women employees working in the Collectorate participated.
The Collector, Commissioner of Municipal Corporation, Commissioner of Police, and Superintendent of Police extended their wishes to the women employees there.
The employees said they were happy that everyone participated in the ceremony on Women's Day.
