SIEMA President thanks Modi for New Year announcements

On New Year’s Eve, when Prime Minister, Narendra Modi addressed the nation, Indians listened with rapt attention. During this address, the PM made announcements of official launching new schemes, keeping in mind those from the weaker sections of our society.

Welcoming these announcements, K.K. Rajan, President of Southern India Engineering Manufacturers Association (SIEMA), has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the announcements that he has made in his New Year’s Eve speech with regards to agriculturists, industrialists and general public.

“Loans of Rs.12 lakh with a rebate on interest of 3% for the constructing of new homes for the poor people who are living in urban areas is a welcome move. The announcement of increasing the loan limit from Rs.1 crore to Rs.2 crores for the traders and industries without any collateral is yet another good move by the government. This will also help the micro and medium enterprises. The Prime Minister's announcement will help the MSME pump manufacturing companies.” he said.
