More than 25 tourists travelled from Coimbatore to Valparai in a one day tourist vehicle by the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Department through the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Department. The tourists who came for a day- long trip through the Tamil Nadu Tourism Department were welcomed with sweets.

Tourists from various places travel to Valparai to visit destinations like Valparai, Aliyar Dam, Monkey Falls 9th hairpin Viewpoint, Iruvatchi Bird Viewpoint Area, Tiger Valley in Waterfalls, Thalanar Viewpoint in Kavarkal, Famous Balaji Temple, Koozhangal River, Nallamudi Flower Garden, Sholayar Dam, Nirar dam, the water coming through the tunnel that cascades down the hill from a distance of 12 km, and the green cover of tea estate, the fresh air, the herd of wild bison that roam on the roadside and the elephants.
However, traders and the public in Valparai are demanding that the government declares the Valparai area as a tourist destination.
