4 school students test positive in Pollachi after returning to schools from September 1st

3 girls and one boy tested positive today during the usual testing procedure conducted.


Pollachi: 4 students tested positive today in Pollachi, while the schools were testing the students as per the usual protocol.

Schools opened in Tamil Nadu from the 1st of September after 17 long months to classes 9-12. Teachers, students, and non-teaching staff were tested for Covid.

Tests were conducted in Pollachi today in which, two girls of Municipal Girls Higher Secondary School, one girl from Puravipalayam High School and one student of a private school in Panikkampatti tested positive.



Health authorities sealed the classrooms and disinfection processes were done throughout the school premises. Further, tests were done on those in contact with the covid patients.
