City Secretary Mayil Ganesan presided over the function held at the Valparai Gandhi Statue Complex. MLAAmul Kandasamy distributed rice and groceries to tailors in the Valparai area.
Amul Kandasamy also distributed beds and mattresses to three families affected by the fire at the Karumalai tea estate. He then provided relief assistance to frontline workers, construction workers and unorganized drivers. The function was attended by the City Secretary Mayil Ganesan, Co-operative Bank Chairman Valparai V Hameed, Youth Wing Secretary Salahuddin, Advocate RR Perumal, Pon Ganesh, SKS Balu, party executives and volunteers, and over a 100 tailors.
