Coimbatore: In Valparai, DMK cadres commemorated the third death anniversary of Kalaignar M Karunanidhi, former DMK leader and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister by paying floral tributes to his portrait.
Muthamil Arignar Dr. Kalaignar M Karunanidhi passed away on August 7, 2018. In commemoration of his third death anniversary, the Valparai Gandhi statue in Coimbatore district was decorated and Kalaignar's portrait was garlanded.
Dr. Varadarajan, Coimbatore District Commissioner also paid homage to the portrait of Kalaiganar Karunanidhi.
Valparai In-charge Palpandi, former City Council Chairman Kozhikadai Ganesan, JPR, Senthil, Magudeeswaran, Krishnamurthy, Kadaikutty and Pollachi area union secretaries Ottapatti Giri, Durai, Ayyampalayam Raj, Thimbamkuthu Sakthivel, Anaimalai East Union Secretary Yuvaraj, West Union Secretary General Dhanapal, Krishnan, Kamaraj, Kannan and DMK party volunteers were also present.
