DMK cadres across Tamil Nadu commemorated the third death anniversary of Kalaignar Karunanidhi, the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and former leader of the DMK.
Late Kalaignar Karunanidhi was honoured in Kinathukadavu constituency, with DMK members paying floral tributes to Kalaignar's portrait at a memorial day function which was held at various places across the constituency.
Coimbatore East District DMK Responsible Committee member Kurichi Prabhakaran attended the event and paid floral tributes to Kaliagnar's portrait.
He also provided welfare assistance to the poor.
Similarly, free notebooks were distributed to school children at the Kalalignar's Memorial Day function held at Ganesapuram.
The event was attended by many including Kurichi Prabhakaran, South Officer Karthikeyan, Eachanari Mahalingam and Ganesapuram Kanagaraj.
