Village awareness meeting on behalf of police near Kinathukadavu
Coimbatore: A village awareness meeting is being held at S. Mettupalayam near Kinathukadavu on behalf of the police to promote good relations between the public and the police. A village awareness meeting was held on behalf of the police in S. Mettupalayam panchayat near Kinathukadavu today. It was led by Kinathukadavu Police Inspector Senthilkumar, the awareness meeting was attended by Sub-Inspector of Police Ganesamurthy, Chief Constable Suresh and Female Constable Bhavatharani to create awareness among the villagers.

Police informed that as the coronavirus pandemic begins to spread again, the government of Tamil Nadu should follow the announced restrictions and immediately report any suspicious occupation or movement of people in the villages to the police.

They also said as crimes against women and girl children are increasing, parents have to monitor their children, as they are involved in social networks and asked parents to advise them from talking to strangers on Facebook and Whatsapp and the like. The meeting was attended by a large number of members of the public from the S. Mettupalayam area.
