Man arrested for illegally storing liquor at high prices in Kinathukadavu
Coimbatore: Police sub-inspector arrested man for illegally hoarding and selling liquor at high prices in Kinathukadavu. Sub-Inspector Ganesamurthy of the Kinnathukadavu police station was engaged in surveillance operations in the Kondampatti area near Kinathukkadavu in Coimbatore district this morning.
At that time, at the Kondampatti bus stand he caught and interrogated a person who was standing suspiciously. Interrogation revealed he was Viswanathan, 50, of the same area and was found to be illegally hoarding and selling liquor at high prices. Later, the police arrested Viswanathan and confiscated bottles of liquor from him. Police have registered a case against Viswanathan and are investigating.
