The Rotaract Club of GCT Coimbatore of Rotary International District 3201 successfully completed the Event R.A.D.O.N.( Recycle and donate old notebooks) under district priority projects (DPP).
Coimbatore: The Rotaract Club of GCT Coimbatore of Rotary International District 3201 successfully completed the Event R.A.D.O.N.( Recycle and donate old notebooks) under district priority projects (DPP). They collected old notebooks and newspapers from the volunteers and maderecycled notebooks from the unused pages of those notebooks.Theused pages from the notebook and newspapers collected from the volunteers are sold for raising funds.
They made 200 +recycled notebooks and also they bought 70 +new notes and they donated to the needychildren in slum areas , Children's homes in 9different districts. Around 250+ kids benefited through this event.
The members of this club had worked hard to collect notebooks. They took a lot of effort to bind the unused pages of the used note books. The children were really happy that they couldn't describe their happiness through words. Their precious smiles had made the volunteers' hearts very light.
