Ahead of the President's visit to the Nilgiris, the Tamil Nadu DGP inspected security measures being taken in both the Nilgiris and Coimbatore.
He also presented certificates and cash prizes to police officials who excelled in the Police Department, at the Coimbatore Municipal Police Commissioner's Office.
Following this, he also held a consultative meeting with the police which was attended by the Western Zone IG, DIG, Coimbatore, Trichy, Salem Municipal Police Commissioners and 8 District Superintendents of Police in the Western Zone.
This was C Sylendra Babu's first visit to the city after taking charge as the DGP of Tamil Nadu.
