Pollachi Collector inspects Veerappagavundanur check post

Pollachi Sub-Collector, Thakare Shubham Dnyandeorao suddenly inspected check posts on Thursday evening.


Coimbatore: Due to the high number of Covid-19 cases in Kerala, the Revenue Department and the police are engaged in intensive surveillance at check posts in Veerappagavundanur, Rangegavundanur and Chinnagavundanur on the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border.

The Pollachi Sub-Collector inspected the Veerappagavundanur check post near Kinathukadavu and advised officials to check for E-pass for those entering Tamil Nadu from Kerala, and to allow them into Tamil Nadu only if they had a negative RT-PCR test certificate.

Kinathukadavu Tahsildhar Sasireka, Special Assistant Inspector of Police, Ramalingam, Zonal Assistant Tahshildar Sivakumar and many others were also part of the inspection..
