Coimbatore: Three Green Life financial institution executives have been convicted by a court of fraud for allegedly defrauding investors of Rs 82 lakh with Rs. 85,000 in the past few years by running a financial institution in Coimbatore.

Asmat Khan Gori 35, Thirunagar, Coimbatore, is the director of Green Life, a financial institution operating in Coimbatore. Amjad Khan Cory 36, of West Rock, Main Road, Golden Rock, Trichy, and Syed Mohammad Rabi, 35, of Uraiyur Road, Trichy, defrauded the public and demanded Rs. 85,000 deposit.
Then they cheated without returning the money and went into hiding. The case was registered in the Coimbatore Economic Crimes Division No. 35/2010 SBI 120 B, 406, 420, ITC and 5 of the TAPID Act and was heard in the Coimbatore TANFIT Special Court. The culprits did not appear in court for trial were issued a warrant. The Coimbatore TANFIT Special Court Judge today issued an order declaring them guilty under Section 82 KVMS as they have been in hiding.
