The 35 km hilly road from Aliyar area has hairpin bends starting from the Aliyar and ends at the 40th hairpin bend in Ayarpadi Estate area. Accidents often occurred without the knowledge of oncoming vehicles in the area of this bend. As a precautionary measure, the highway department has installed a two-way digital notice board at the top and bottom of the road at the 5th hairpin bend.
A digital notice board is fitted to alert oncoming vehicles from below. It is a digital notice board that detects the movement of the vehicle and drives it. The sentence "Go carefully" is recorded in Tamil and English and when the vehicle arrives, it is registered on the digital notice board. It is powered by a solar system.
