Coimbatore: Chief Minister M K Stalin inaugurated the newly-announced medical facility for the public on Thursday, in Krishnagiri district. This initiative by the Tamil Nadu Government was followed by a launch through video conferencing in all districts. As a part of this initiative, the Valparai Regional Resource Center was inaugurated, headed by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Babu Lakshmanan at the Vellimudi tribal area, in Valparai.
According to Dr. Babu Lakshmanan, Chief Physician, Valparai region, the scheme is also being implemented in all primary health centers in Valparai. Medicines are distributed to the homes of the general public through volunteers affiliated with the health program.
