Valparai Tailors Association General Body Meeting held: Admin members were selected
Coimbatore: A meeting of the General Committee of the Tailors' Association was held at Valparai.
The meeting also elected new executives and stressed on the Coronavirus awareness. The general body meeting of the Tailors Association in Valparai, Coimbatore district was held at a private hall. Secretary Karuppasamy presided over the meeting. Treasurer Johnson headed the proceedings.
The meeting was attended by Government Primary Health Center health inspector Jagan who insisted all to wear a face mask to protect against coronavirus infection and also emphasized the need to adhere to social distancing. Following this, Valparai Assistant Inspector Balaji attended and asked the public to cooperate with the police to maintain law and order. This was followed by the general body meeting where Treasurer Johnson read the annual report.
New admin selection was held under the supervision of Advocate Sivasubramanian. Johnson was elected General Secretary and Treasurer and 12 members were elected.
Everyone congratulated the winners and more than 150 tailors attended the event.
