Municipality health department employees are working on disinfectant spraying throughout the Valparai municipality areas. There is also an awareness campaign for the public to wear face masks through loudspeakers in vehicles.
As another step, more than 60 employees are distributing kabasura kudineer powder packets from door-to-door to people living in 21-ward areas under Valparai municipality. They are also investigating and checking if people in the houses have the flu and action is being taken to give them the treatment they need
