Floral tribute was paid to the portrait of Deeran Chinnamalai. Later, Coimbatore East District DMK responsible committee member Kurichi Prabhakaran, who was present at the event, paid floral tributes to the film Deeran Chinnamalai and also provided welfare assistance to the cleaning staff. Many DMK and CPI (M) party executives were present on the occasion.
