In Hosur Patanjali yog samiti state president Paras M Sirvee, district head Vivekanand, Advocate Ramprakash, Dr. Girish and others planted and distributed herbal saplings.

In Chennai at Anna Nagar Patanjali headquarters President Balsubramaniam led volunteers in sapling planting and distribution. At Uttukotai Ramesh Choudhary with fellow yogis planted saplings and distributed herbal saplings to public and police personals.

At Salem, Ananth Vaidya with his team planted herbal saplings and distributed herbal saplings to villagers. In Namakkal retired police officer Arumugham Chenniappan taught yoga to police officers and distributed and planted herbal saplings.
Kishore Golecha state media cell President of Patanjali said thatthey celebrated the birthday of Acharya Balkrishna as Jadi-Buti Diwas or National Herbal Day becausehe is born to increase the pride of herbs and to establish the reputation of Ayurveda all over the world. Acharyasree presented a set of ayurvedic books autographed by him personally to Kishore Golecha. He enquired about the activities of Ayurveda and Yoga lovers in Coimbatore. Acharya and Swami Ramdev had visited Coimbatore Isha yoga centre 2 years back and they much appreciated the social works done by Sadhguru .
