Ambedkar Thotta Makkal Sangam consultative meeting held in Valparai
Coimbatore: Anaimalai Ambedkar Thotta Makkal Sangam consultative meeting was held at the Valparai Association office in Valparai, Coimbatore District.
Assembly Constituency Secretary, Veeramani presided over the consultative meeting along with the Secretary of State, Kesava Murugan. City Secretary Velmurugan presented the welcome address.

Viduthalai Siruthai Katchi Seyyur legislator, Panayur Babu addressed the gathering. He promised to take the demands to the Legislative Assembly and bring it to the attention of the Chief Minister to take appropriate action. Following this, the Secretary of the Viduthalai Siruthai Katchi, Attorney General Parivendhar spoke on various issues, including pay hike and promised these issues would be resolved soon.
At the meeting, a petition was presented to take action to lease the houses they had been living in for 50 years to those who have been living on the tea estates. The consultation meeting was attended by a large number of people including City Joint General Secretary, Anton Nallamuthu, Union Vice President Amulraj, Jaisankar and other leaders Savithri and Rajeswari.
