IM Sports team won the box cricket match by 35 runs beating PK Club in Pollachi
Coimbatore: Saravana Sports Arenaconducted a box cricket match on Saturday at Vadugapalayam, Pollachi. 16 teams from various parts of the state including Pollachi, Anaimalai, Negamam and Meenatchipuram participated in the tournament. The cricket tournament comprised five overs with only 6 players per team.
The IM Sports team and PK Club qualified for the finals in this lively competition. In the final, the IM Sports team which batted first scored 95 runs in 5 overs. Chasing the target, PK Club team scored only 60 runs in 5 overs, thus conceding the match to IM Sports which won by a margin of 35 runs. The top three teams were awarded trophies and prize money.
