Coimbatore: Roadside shopkeeper arrested for allowing liquor drinking near Kinathukadavu.
Tasmac stores have been opened in Tamil Nadu and liquor is being sold. But since the liquor store is not open, alcohol drinkers keep drinking outdoors.
It was revealed that while the Kinathukadavu police were on patrol this afternoon, they saw few drinking alcohol with water and snacks at the roadside shop near stone pit, in Sikkalampalayam, Kinathukadavu. Following this, the police arrested him and arrested Murali (25) from Aranthangi area of Pudukkottai district.
It was revealed that he was staying in the Sikkalampalayam area at present and was running a roadside shop and giving permission to drink alcohol. Following this, the police arrested Murali and registered a case.
