Tirupur: The number of infections in Tirupur district has been declining in the last few days as the number of cases during the 2nd wave of coronavirus infection has increased.
Awareness meeting on Coronavirus Prevention and Guidelines for Business Corporations, Marriage Halls was held todayon behalf of Tirupur Corporation Administration and City Police in the event that various measures may be taken on behalf of the Corporation to avoid the third wave.
The meeting was chaired by Corporation Commissioner Kranthi Kumar and was attended by Vijaya Lalithambika, Designated Officer, Department of Food Security and executives of Restaurant Owners 'Association and Wedding Hall Owners' Association. They spoke in detail about the procedures to be followed to prevent infection and the role of the police in it.
