Rising sexual cases against women in Coimbatore: Rs. 1,4 crore swindled by threatening to post intimate videos of women after sedating them
Coimbatore: In Coimbatore, a man swindled Rs 1.4 crore pretending to start a business with a woman. He went home and mixed the sedatives in the biryani.
The victim complained that she was raped and threatened with a video of it saying it will be posted on social media. Maheshwari is from the Peelamedu area of Coimbatore. She has submitted a petition to the Chief Minister's Special team and Coimbatore Commissioner of Police.
She told reporters that she had filed a petition for justice because she had been deceived, "Jayakanthan, the son of Jayaram from Palladam Sukkampalayam area, received two installments from me saying that he could invest in the power loom business and make a good profit. Following this, Jayakanthan came to my house, mixed sedatives in biryani, sexually abused me and threatened to take video and pictures of it.
Also, when I asked for my money back, he along with his friend Natarajan threatened to spread my pornographic videos on social media. Moreover, action should be taken against Jayakanthan who is ruining the lives of so many women like this."
