Camps for this academic year are being held at 610 centers in 15 regional resource centers in Coimbatore district on behalf of the 'Karpom Ezhuthuvom' movement.
The assessment camp for 12,158 uneducated students is being held from the 29th. The camp lasts for 3 days and ends on the 31st. During these three days, camps are held in various places such as schools, workplaces and residential areas.
Meanwhile, 4394 students attended the camp yesterdaywith great interest. The assessment camps were inspected by District Education Officer Ramakrishnan, District Education Officers, Assistant Project Officers, Regional Education Officers and Teacher Trainers.
A large number of senior citizens attended and expressed their interest. They were taught basic education such as reading and writing.
